Festival means rejoicing moment of life. It brings happiness to us. In India, the festival Diwali occupies a special place. This festival not only bring happiness but also expenditures. Not everyone can cope with that. In one way it increases the rich-poor divide.

Soon after the festival one could witness loads and loads of garbage- strewn streets.It will take at least a week to gt cleared . The conservancy will come at doorstep demand "tips " for their "service"rendered. The aftermath of the festival could also witness a huge queue at the clinics because of reckless eating habits. All diabetics queue up with insulin syringes to lower their sugr levels. On the whole,these days diwali misses the zing thing as it used to be!

Do we need to brag?

Finally, Delhi has delivered . This is the historic moment . India has ranked second in the medals tally of the Common Wealth Games. Definitely, this is the moment to cherish. For the first time India's medal hunt has gone past 100 mark.

But, one pertinent remains can we perform encore at the Asian Games? In my opinion, it is just a beginning Hence, we should not develop complacency.

180 degree turnaround

For the last six months, the media was lambasting the government over the Common Wealth Games preparations. Not even a week ago, there was a much hullabaloo over the hygiene factor. A s the games got closer everything is forgotten now, it is the time of nation's pride.

India's spirituality is well known concept. Of late, every temple in the locality or the prestigious temple centers across the country receive millions of devotees. On the one hand, India is making rapid economical growth on the other, devotees prayers are increasing.

The bottom line of this serpentine line outside every major temple centers suggest that we have money by hook or crook. In the eyes of the society, we are successful, but,we cannot fool our conscience.As a result, we remain restless we want to dilute our sins by accommodating "god(s)" to our acts.

Even while choosing gods we don't use our own caliber. we simply go by herd-mentality.

ரயில் பயணம் என்பது மிக சுவாரசியமான ஒன்று. ஆனால் இப்பொழுது ரயில் விபத்துகளை பார்த்தல் சும்மா விட்டுகுலயே கவுந்து அடித்து தூங்கவது ரொம்போ நல்லா இருக்கும் போல் இருக்கிறது.

ஆட்டம் ஒய்ந்தது .....

ஒரு மாத கால உலக கோப்பை கால் பந்து ஆடம் ஒரு வழியாக ஒய்ந்தது . முதல் முறையாக ஸ்பெயின் கோப்பையை வென்றது. மனதிற்கு வருத்தம் அளிக்கும் விஷயும் என்னவென்றால் உலகில் மிக பெரிய வளரசாக வளரும் இந்தியா தகுதி சுற்றில் கூட முன்னேற வில்லை . எல்லாம் கிரிக்கெட் மோகத்தின் விளைவு......

பகட்டு பெருமை பறிகொடுத்தல்....

எல்லாம் சில மணி நேரத்திற்க்கு தான்... இந்த சில மணி நேரத்திற்கு நாம் படுகிற பாடு இருக்கிறதே சொல்ல முடியாது . இந்த புகழ் ellaam ஒரு மாயை தான் இது. ஒரு bodhaiyil மாட்டிக்கொண்டு வெளியே வருவது என்பது மிக கடினம் தான்.

ஆமா, யார் லோடை யார் சும்மக்கது....

மாம்பழம் எங்கே .....

நமது தேசிய கனி மாம்பழம் அதுவும் இந்த கோடை காலங்களில் கிடைக்கும் பழம் . ஏனோ தெரியவில்லை இந்த கோடை காலத்தில் மாம்பழம் கிடைக்கவில்லை. அப்படியே கிடைத்தாலும் யானை விலை குதிரை விலை என்று எட்டாத கனியாக இருக்கிறது.

யார் பிச்சைகாரன்...

ஒரு காலத்தில் நூறு ரூபாய் நோட்டை பார்ப்பது மிகவும் அரிது. ஆனால் இன்று கதையே வேறு. எல்லோரிடமும் ஆயிர ரூபாய் நோட் கதத்தை கத்தையாக குவிஞ்சி கிடக்கிறது. இப்போது சொல்லுங்கள் யார் நம் நாட்டில் பிச்சைக்காரன் என்று.

ஒரு வழியாக ஒய்ந்தது .......

கடந்த சுமார் இரண்டு மாதங்களாக நடை பெற்ற கிரிக்கெட் போட்டி ஒரு வழியாக ஒய்ந்தது . சும்மா ஓயவில்லை பல குற்றச்சாட்டுடன் முடிவடைந்தது . இந்திய மக்களை போதை தரும் இரண்டு அம்சங்கள். ஒன்று சினிமா , இரண்டாவது கிரிக்கெட். இந்த கிரிக்கெட்டுக்கு பயந்து பல திரைப்படங்கள் வெளி வராமல் இருந்தது . அந்த அளவுக்கு கிரிக்கெட் மோகம் மக்களை பிடித்து வாட்டுகிறது. இதை பயன் படுத்தி கொண்டு பலர் விளையாட்டு மைதானத்துக்கு வெளியே சூது விளையாட்டு நடைபெறுகிறது என்ற குற்றச்சாட்டு கிரிக்கெட் ஆட்டத்தின் மீது பழி விழிந்துள்ளது .

சும்மா வருவாளா சுகுமாரி!

எதுவும் நிரந்தரம் இல்லை...

சுமார் நாலு ஆண்டகளுக்கு முன் இரு பெரிய நபர்கள் சேர்ந்து ஜக்மோகன் டால்மியா வை கிரிக்கெட் வாரியத்தில் இருந்து நீக்கினர். அந்த இரு நபர்கள் வேறு யாரும் இல்லை : ஷஷான்க் மனோகர் மற்றும் லலித் மோடி .

ஆனால் இன்று கதையே வேறு ஷஷான்க் மனோகர் மோடியை IPL சைர்மன் பதவியில் இருந்து நீக்கினார். வாழ்க்கையில் எதுவமே நிரந்தரம் இல்லை. இன்றைய எதிரி நாளையை நண்பன்.

அதுவும் பணம் புழங்கும் இடத்தில் நட்புக்கு என்று மரியாதயை எதிர் பார்க்க முடியாது . கண்ணில் விளக்குஎண்ணெய் உற்றி கொண்டு வேலை செய்ய வேண்டும். கண்ணா ! ஆப்பு எப்படி வரும் எப்போ வரும் தெரியாது ஆனால் வர வேண்டிய நேரத்தில கரெக்டா வந்து சேரும்.
